Recipes

Choco-Nutty loaf

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 envelope Nestle Choco Bake or 1 square unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped peanuts

Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a 9" x 5"-loaf pan. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl. With a pastry blender, add the peanut butter, Add milk and egg together and pour into the flour mixture. Stir until well blended. Fold in Choco Bake and peanuts. Spread batter in Prepared pan. Bake at 350° F for 50-55 minutes. Cool on wire rack before slicing. Serve with peanut butter and jam.

Yield: 1 loaf
